Eva Bouzard-Hui Biography

Eva Bouzard-Hui was born in South Carolina and grew up in the small town of North, South Carolina.
She attended the University of South Carolina to earn her BA in Art Education. She taught for 3 years
in Columbia and Darlington, South Carolina. In 1961, Eva traveled to New York City and received
her Masters Degree from Teachers College, Columbia University.

In 1970, Eva Hui was introduced to her late husband, Ka Kwong Hui. They were married
for 23 years and exchanged many ideas about ceramics. Eva later in 1985 went back
to Columbia Teachers College and earn her E.D.D.
in College Teaching and Administration.

Today, Eva is retired from a heavy load of teaching and no longer teaches at Georgian Court
University. Eva continues to be interested in certain charitable endeavors and carries work
in photography, paintings and ceramics. Eva is a multi-faceted artist working in various mediums.
